Food and service is amazing!!! We loved the food so much we had them cater our friendsgiving celebration! Loli was so helpful and made the process so easy... everything was perfect! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Shrimp and Grits were amazing. Jamie is a fantastic server with great menu suggestions.

Awesome local restaurant. The place was full of birthday celebrations and families. Awesome atmosphere. The food was exceptional and the service perfect. The braised short rib was "fall off the bone" tender and savory. Trout dip was hard to stop eating!! Trout dinner was perfect . Love there is a great eatery in Cumming. I don't want to travel to Alpharetta, Roswell or farther to enjoy dinner.

Came back and it was amazing as usual! Bacon was crispy and service was great. Matt the owner had reached out and apologized for the last visit, which was very professional and we truly appreciated . Stuff happens! They had some servers out sick and the day was unusually busy at homestead for brunch. Matt made it up to us, and we will be returning!

The brunch menu did not disappoint! This was only my second time visiting, and first time was for dinner so I was excited to get to experience their brunch. I've had nothing short of amazing service both times. The food is beyond delicious, and highly recommend the shrimp & grits. Some of the best I've ever had! For brunch, it was hard to choose as they offer all the southern breakfast staples, but I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun as I'm so glad I did! Or course, I had to get a side of the breakfast potato's and then added another side of the jalapeño cheese grits. 10/10 and exactly what I was craving thanks to my growing baby belly. I love the aesthetic, and their chairs are so comfortable which I normally wouldn't note but they are just that comfortable. They also have a beautiful back porch for outdoor seating. Next time you're visiting Cumming City Center, you have got to enjoy a meal at Homestead!

Love this place and the atmosphere! Such a great experience all around. 1) Plenty of parking 2) Kid and dog friendly 3) Great restaurants 4) The Memorial Walk 5) The people watching 6) Mini golf There was so much to take in but it was small enough to be walkable for all. It's a great mash up of Piedmont Park and the Avalon all in one.

We were seated pretty quickly. Our server brought us our drinks quickly. We were checking out the brunch offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Great options and great sides and substitutes. I don't eat pork and they had steak and chicken options. Everything was flavorful and came out pretty quickly as well. Great for families with kids as well. Indoor and outdoor spaces.

We had another great meal here! Stopped in for a birthday lunch. Weekdays they open at 11am for lunch. It's pretty quiet around Cumming City Center now that school is back in session for Forsyth County. Chloe is our wonderful server. The service is very good. She offered good suggestion's. Best birthday burger ever!

Located in the newly opened Cumming Ga. City Center, the Homestead was a great experience. An awesome lineup of cocktails and hand held sandwiches. Knowing ahead of time about the burgers being large and juicy we passed on the appetizers and went straight to the main meal. Side note: they sounded delicious on the menu. My choice was the Desperado - a fried chicken breast with melted provolone, lettuce tomato and a shaved red onion topped with the Desperado aioli. Delicious and zesty. Cocktails, you can take your pick of a nice assortment of well crafted tastiness. I went with the 1776 Aviation. Bluecoat Gin, Lemon, Luxardo Maraschino and Combier Creme De Violette. A couple of these and you're ready for take-off. lol But my hit of the night was the sides. The Collards, I know I know, collard greens lol. Look, I was born and raised in the north (Chicago) and never had a taste for them until now. Cooked in Southern Sweet Tea and bacon braised collards. Oh My Gosh! Just bring me the entire pot. I couldn't stop eating them. Whether you like collard greens or not you owe it to yourself to give them a try. Needless to say the dessert wasn't an option after this meal. But not to worry, The Homestead is at the top of my list to get back there and sample some apps and desserts. Tip - Apparently the TIP feature is not working for some Yelp users so until it's fixed I'll leave my TIP here. If you go on concert night there's a great view from the roof top over looking the entire concert area.

We went to Homestead for lunch on our little Sunday trip to Cumming City Center today. They have a large menu, which included their weekend brunch menu. We came with some family and I got the steak and eggs (poached), my husband got the French Quarter rib dip and my sister got the Cesar salad. The salad was the BEST thing here. I kept nibbling on it even though it wasn't mine. Hubby enjoyed his rib dip and commented on how great the fries are! They were a really pleasing shape. My steak was a bit tough and not as flavorful as I make it at home, but the poached eggs were good! If you go here, definitely get the Cesar salad, it's fabulous!
